Setting up your trading platform
Quartz/24 accounts trade in TradeSea, connected to Rithmic. Sign in to TradeSea, then connect the Rithmic credentials Quartz/24 provides for the account. Those credentials are not your Quartz/24 login, and they are not the Google or email login you use for TradeSea. The username and password are case-sensitive.
Sign in to TradeSea with Google, or with your email and the one-time code TradeSea sends to that inbox. If the code does not arrive, check spam and confirm the email address. After you sign in, TradeSea opens your station. On the phone app you can also sign in with Apple.
Connect the account from Account Centre. These are the steps in TradeSea's connect guide:
- Open Account Centre. From the account selector at the top left, you can also click Connect New.
- Click Connect New.
- Find Quartz/24 in the list of firms and click Connect.
- Enter the Rithmic username and Rithmic password Quartz/24 provided.
- Set Environment to Simulation for a QuartzEdge™ evaluation or a QuartzEdge™ funded account. Both are simulated. Set Environment to Live only for a QuartzElite™ account.
- Enter your full name.
- Click Connect. If the button says Sign In, use that.
When the connection succeeds, TradeSea returns you to Account Centre. Confirm the account is listed and the status is Connected. If more than one account is linked, select the account you intend to trade. Orders go to the selected account.
On the mobile app, open the Account tab and tap Add. You can also open the Trade tab and tap Add Account. The same mobile steps follow: firm, Rithmic credentials, environment, and your full name.
If Quartz/24 is not in the firm list, the connection is not enabled on that login yet. Reach the team. If the credentials fail, check caps lock and use the Rithmic username and password from Quartz/24. If that password was just reset, use the new one. If the status says Connected but the account does not appear in Station, reopen Account Centre, refresh, and select the account again. Further fixes are in Common connection issues and fixes.
